We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demi Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, working closely with senior chefs to ensure high standards of food quality and hygiene. Skills/Qualifications Required

Key Responsibilities:Requirements:

High standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Basic knowledge of all kitchen sections

Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role

Adhere to food safety and workplace health and safety standards

Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff or kitchen hands

Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner

Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages

Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently

Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in your work area

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in your assigned section (e.g., grill, pastry, cold larder)

Salary

Range: FJD 5 - FJD 6 / month
