Goolma Ltd operates Paradise Cove Resort, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort & Octopus Resort and is based in the Yasawa Islands. Our resorts have talented teams and we are looking to enhance this with other like minded individuals who share a passion for tourism and guest satisfaction.

We are looking for suitably qualified applicants for the following role to join our Island team:

Skills/Qualifications Required

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to coordinate water-based activities.
• Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and resort protocols.
• Provide exceptional guest service, sharing knowledge of local waters and marine life.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of boats to ensure seaworthiness.
• Safely operate and navigate resort vessels for guest excursions, transfers, and activities.

Requirements:

• Team-oriented with a focus on safety and reliability.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to island living.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Strong knowledge of marine navigation, safety protocols, and boat maintenance.
• 3-4 years of experience as a boat captain, preferably in hospitality or tourism.
• Valid Class 6 Full License (or equivalent maritime certification).

This is a rostered position: 24 days on, followed by 8 days off.
