Job Description

Serenity Island Resort is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Personnel to support and maintain our resort’s technology systems. This position plays a vital role in ensuring seamless digital operations across guest services, reservations, communications, security systems, and staff workflows. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, hospitality awareness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Excellent troubleshooting and interpersonal skills

Basic understanding of VoIP, CCTV, and door lock systems

Familiarity with property management systems and POS systems is an advantage

Strong working knowledge of Windows, networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), and basic server administration

Minimum 1–2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment

Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Participate in the planning and implementation of IT upgrades or new system deployments

Respond promptly to IT service requests from staff and management

Support AV setup for meetings, events, and guest entertainment systems

Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and equipment lifecycle records

Ensure all systems are regularly updated, backed up, and protected against cyber threats

Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized software and equipment support

Assist with the configuration and maintenance of email accounts, servers, and user access permissions

Monitor and maintain high-speed internet connectivity throughout guest and staff areas

Support front desk and reservation systems (PMS, POS, booking engines)

Maintain and troubleshoot hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, routers, and switches

Provide on-site technical support for all resort IT systems, including computers, POS systems, Wi-Fi networks, telephony, and security systems
