We are currently inviting applications for the role of Boat Captain – Class 6 Full to join our on-site operations team.

Boat Captain - Class 6 Full

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of resort activities on the water
• Follow all maritime safety regulations and resort policies
• Deliver high-quality guest service, including sharing local marine knowledge and creating memorable experiences
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure all boats remain in safe, seaworthy condition
• Operate resort vessels safely and efficiently for guest transfers, excursions, and water-based activities

Requirements:

• A strong team player with a commitment to safety and service excellence
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to island life
• Excellent communication skills and a guest-focused mindset
• Strong understanding of navigation, marine safety standards, and boat upkeep
• 3–4 years of experience as a boat captain, ideally in a tourism or hospitality setting
• A valid Class 6 Full License or equivalent recognized maritime certification

Position Details
This is a rostered, full-time role: 24 days on, followed by 8 days off.
