Your Day to Day:
As a Lobby Ambassador, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire stay. Your role is to create a warm, engaging, and professional environment in the hotel lobby, ensuring guests feel welcomed, informed, and well cared for. You will represent the hotel’s brand and service standards while actively supporting smooth arrival and departure experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Engagement & Welcome Experience
- Escort guests to check-in desks, elevators, or other areas when required.
- Recognize and assist VIPs, long-stay guests, and those with special needs.
- Offer proactive assistance with directions, hotel details, and general inquiries.
- Warmly greet and acknowledge all guests upon arrival.
Lobby Oversight & Ambience
- Observe guest flow and behavior to ensure comfort, safety, and order.
- Ensure furniture, signage, and promotional materials are tidy and up to date.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting lobby environment.
Support to Guest Services
- Support minor errands and service recovery initiatives when needed.
- Report guest feedback, concerns, or unusual incidents to the Guest Experience Supervisor or Duty Manager.
- Direct guests to transportation, dining venues, and local attractions.
- Assist the Front Desk and Concierge teams during peak periods.
Brand & Service Representation
- Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful suggestions or solutions proactively.
- Uphold Holiday Inn’s service standards and professional appearance at all times.
- Promote hotel facilities, dining outlets, and ongoing events to guests.
Qualifications & Skills
- Able to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Well-groomed with a professional attitude.
- Cultural sensitivity and comfort in interacting with international guests.
- Excellent communication skills with a warm and approachable personality.
- Previous experience in guest-facing roles in hotels, retail, or events is an advantage.
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or Customer Service preferred.
