Job Description

Yasawa Island Resort & Spa is a luxury all-inclusive escape nestled in one of the most secluded and spectacular locations in the Fiji Islands. We are looking for a talented and experienced Resort Carpenter to join our team, helping to preserve the structural quality and visual charm of our resort.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to support daily operations.

Ensure all work meets safety regulations and aligns with the resort’s aesthetic standards.

Contribute to resort improvement projects, renovations, and special construction tasks.

Design, build, and install custom-made furniture, cabinetry, and fixtures as needed.

Carry out maintenance and repair work on villas, guest buildings, and resort facilities, including roofing, decking, and interior finishes.

Requirements:

A valid driver’s licence is an advantage.

Must be adaptable, dependable, and comfortable with island living.

Experience in resort or remote settings is a plus.

Capable of working independently and effectively within a team.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to superior workmanship.

Proficient with both hand tools and power tools.

Demonstrated experience as a professional carpenter; trade certification is highly regarded.
