Who We Are
Goolma Ltd is the proud owner of Paradise Cove Resort, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort, and Octopus Resort three of the most popular destinations in the Yasawa Islands. We're looking for a skilled Marine Technician to help maintain and service our fleet of vessels operating between the islands and Nadi.

About the Role
This is a practical, hands-on position ideal for someone with broad marine mechanical experience. You’ll be responsible for keeping our boats in top working order for guest transport, diving excursions, and other water activities.

 

Your Main Duties

  • Assist with training and follow established protocols and procedures
  • Work well independently while also supporting your team
  • Uphold safety standards and quality workmanship
  • Operate boats for testing and ensure vessels are returned safely to operation
  • Troubleshoot and fix gearboxes and minor electrical issues
  • Prior experience with Suzuki 4-stroke engines is a big plus; 2-stroke knowledge is also valuable
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs on outboard engines, especially four-stroke petrol motors

Skills/Qualifications Required

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and technical thinking
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English
  • Valid licenses for both car and boat operation
  • Solid background in maintaining inboard and outboard engines
  • At least 2 years of hands-on marine technician experience
